Teresa Bilodeau Mclean

Teresa Bilodeau Mclean is a paranormal investigator, researcher, and memoirist whose life has been shaped — and shadowed — by forces most people only encounter in fiction.

Growing up in a family marked by cycles of abuse and addiction, Teresa discovered early that the unseen world had taken notice of her. The encounters began in childhood and never stopped: a shape in the dark that vanished before morning, a voice when no one was there, presences that moved through locked rooms. Some protected her. Others did not.

For decades, Teresa has investigated the paranormal professionally, founding and leading Hide and Seek Paranormal Society — an organization dedicated to researching, documenting, and understanding supernatural phenomena. Her work has taken her into abandoned hospitals, historic homes, and the darkest corners of human grief. Yet nothing she has encountered in the field has ever matched the intensity of what has followed her throughout her own life.

Her memoir, Friend or Foe: Forever Haunted, is the culmination of that lifetime — a story told with unflinching honesty, vivid witness testimony, and the investigative precision of someone who has spent years asking the questions others are afraid to ask. It is the story of a haunting that was never about a place. It was always about a person.

Teresa lives in North Fort Myers, Florida, where she continues her paranormal research and writes about the intersection of trauma, survival, and the supernatural.
